Are You Lying to Yourself About Wanting Your Ex Back?
It happens all the time. Women will tell themselves they want him, need him back – but if it was a close friend they were advising, they would be telling her, “Don’t let the door hit him in the backside!”
Ask yourself if you can really get over whatever went wrong. Did he cheat on you? Can you really let go of that? Did you cheat on him? If so, did you ever examine what made you do that – because it was more than just an extra Cosmopolitan one night in a bar.
Are you scared to be alone because the sadness of breaking up with your ex is overwhelming to you? Do you feel like you’ll never find anyone as good as your ex?
In your logical head, you know this isn’t true – there are tons of good men available out there and you can survive on your own. You just need a strategy. Find some good advice on how to get your ex back and follow the plan without missing a single step. If it works, and you live happily ever after – great! If it doesn’t, you’ll know you two weren’t meant to be together and you can move on to find your real knight in shining armor.

Hey Trixy! I know just what you mean about fearing being alone. I want you to read this (when you’re finished reading this message: http://www.poetry.com/dotnet/P8751148/999/1/display.aspx – it is something that’s very hard for women to do – we’re always programmed to be part of a couple. Be alone and be empowered by it – it’s actually attractive to men. And it’ll make you a better partner if you ARE okay with being alone. You won’t be clingy, jealous, worried, etc. (if you are – I had to grow out of that). I would need more info about his mistake and how to get him back but it’s doable. I always tell people to examine their role – even though he made a mistake – let’s say he cheated for example. What led to him cheating? That’s just an example, of course.
