Advice on Getting Your Boyfriend Back

You just got the word, via text message, no less, that your boyfriend wants to break it off. With your heart thumping wildly and tears forming, you scramble for advice on getting your boyfriend back. I’m a woman, and I have my own insight to give you, but I also learned a ton from a guy friend of mine named T. Jackson, who also happens to be an expert in helping men and women win back their ex – regardless of the circumstances.

First, calm down. You won?t do yourself any good to get all hysterical about it. Besides, maybe that is one of the reasons he walked out. Guys like a woman to admire him but they really don?t like a clingy, whiny girl. So get a grip on your emotions.

Next, don?t call him, pester him or hound him. That only drives him farther away. The trick is to act like you can do without him (even though your heart tells you differently).

No, now is the time to get involved doing something for someone else or even taking a creative writing class ? whatever sounds new and interesting ? to get your mind going in another direction.

Give him time to cool off – say a month. Sounds too long? Well you need time to rethink your relationship, too. Did you nag him to death? Did you check up on him all the time? Nagging and clinging are two very ?ugly? traits that you must lose before you ever hope to have a good solid relationship with anyone, much less your guy.

Hey, go get a facial and spa treatment. While you are there, get a new ?do? for your hair. Take up weight training at the gym (a great place to meet other guys, too). If you do an overhaul of the mind and body you may find you are a more pleasant person to be with and your man will see the difference the next time you ?run into him?.

Getting your boyfriend back is a two way street but at least you can be the best ?you? when the time comes that you meet up again.
